Registration Opens for Moab Rocks 2014 - Race dates announced October 11th-13th
conclusion of the inaugural Moab Rocks this past October, the TransRockies
Events team officially brought the 2013 race season to a close. It was
an amazing weekend in beautiful Moab, Utah, and the riders took advantage of
some great fall weather while tackling Porcupine Rim, Mag 7 and Captain

So, what`s up for 2014?
Rocks will be back on October 11th, 12th and 13th with a new stage
featuring the Klondike trail! Early bird registration is open with
significant savings over 2013. Riders who register before January 31st will pay just $299. After that the price jumps up 50 bucks.
The field is
limited to just 200 riders and judging by the success of last year’s event
and reduced pricing those spots are certain to fill up fast.
The first 50 riders to register will be entered to win their choice of
one 2014 cycling vacation courtesy of Western Spirit Cycling Adventures!

Registration includes: Starter
jersey (if registered before June 30th, 2014), pint glass, marked route with
two aid stations daily, medical/rescue support, chip timing, prizing,
fundraising for the Trail Mix.
In response to
rider feedback the race route has changed from year one. The Hurrah Pass/Captain
Ahab stage is out as riders wanted more singletrack and less dirt road
riding. The race will now start with the Porcupine Rim stage, followed by an
all-new, 27-mile, stage on the Klondike Bluffs trail. Before finishing once
again on the Mag 7 trails system for stage three.
Each stage of
the 3-day race will feature a timed descent giving riders another prize to
chase each day.
