After being invited to join the Cannondale Factory Racing
team, junior rider Keegan Swenson has enjoyed the full support only a top professional
team can provide. This week Swenson traveled to Italy for Cannondale Camp, a
four-day retreat of riding and getting to know his new teammates. While in
Italy, Swenson will be accompanied by Tinker Juarez, Jeremiah Bishop, and Alex
Grant.

Italy Day 1
Well today was my "first” day in Italy. We are staying in a
small town outside of Genoa called, Finale Ligure. The small city is backed up
against some huge mountains and supposedly has some of the best riding in
Europe!
Today we did a short ride on the road with some fun singletrack
thrown in on the downhill. Lots of banked turns and a few rocks and roots.
Today was also my second day on my new Cannondale Scalpel 26. Such a fast bike,
it’s just so light and easily maneuverable through the tight switchbacks and
roots. Cant wait to race it in 2 weeks at Bonelli Park Pro XCT.
Hopefully I can shake
off the jetlag quick and be back to normal for the next few days I am here!
